Australian foreign affairs editor Greg Sheridan said “nothing significant” would come from Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s visit to Kyiv.
“It’s just a matter of symbolism,” he told Sky News presenter Peta Kreidlin.
I would not object if the Albanians were gone, for it would be to express solidarity with a democratic nation being invaded by a totalitarian nation.
But the government did a tremendous amount of travel in the first few weeks, and most of it was justified.
“Now that they have to do all this travel, I would like them to come home and do business of governance.”
