Savannah Dailey: Smart Cleanse founder, Instagram influencer, denied bail on child sex charges

Police allege that a charming North Shore businessman and heiress had sex with a 14-year-old four times in one day.

Police allege that a charming North Shore health entrepreneur, the daughter of a famous horse breeder, had sex with a 14-year-old on four occasions last year.

Savannah Dailey, 48, appeared in Waverley Court on Tuesday after she was charged with four counts of having sex with a boy aged 14-16.

Police allege that the Longville resident had unlawful sexual contact with the 14-year-old on four occasions in the 24 hours leading up to 5 p.m. on May 20, 2021.

Police allege that all four sexual encounters occurred in the same North Shore suburb where she lives.

Ms. Daisley was very drunk at the time of the alleged crime, according to police allegations made in court.

Police claim that a legal phone click heard the upscale founder of the detox business Smart Cleanse admit to kissing the alleged victim.

The police applied for a violent arrest warrant to protect the 14-year-old complainant.

The entrepreneur has been in custody since the child abuse unit arrested her before 11 a.m. on June 27.

Ms. Dailey was denied bail after a judge decided it was not in the public interest to release her from custody.

Her father, Ross Daisley, a famous horse breeder, offered to pay a $10,000 bond to guarantee her return to court if she was granted conditional liberty.

Mr. Daisley is best known as the breeder of the Thoroughbred racehorse, which became an international champion after winning the prestigious Royal Ascot races in England. The Chorus is one of only five horses to have won a Golden Jubilee and King’s Stand race during a single encounter.

His daughter, who is an Instagram influencer who has a crowd of 40,000 followers, will remain in pretrial detention for nearly two months until the next court date.

Ms. Daisley had not pleaded with the charges, but her attorney warned that she would deny all charges.

Daisley’s case has been adjourned to Manley Court, which is closer to her North Shore home. She will return to court on August 23.

It is unclear who will run her company, Smart Cleanse, while Daisley is still in custody.

Her business was launched on the back of a popular 14 day detox and weight management program focused on organic wellbeing. She has also authored two books on health and wellness.

“Savannah has helped thousands of people detoxify their bodies, lose weight, reduce stress, and reverse the aging process through its detoxifying benefits,” the Smart Cleanse business explains.

The site also includes an introduction penned by Mrs. Daisley explaining that she was a “resident mojito girl” in her youth. An Instagram post mentions a previous turbulent relationship with alcohol, with a recent post announcing that she had spent 223 days sober.
